Gaurav Gambhir began his real estate career in 2002 as a Philadelphia real estate agent after graduating from Drexel University, where he studied Computer Science, Business, and Mathematics. Gambhir has accumulated 20 years of broad experience across various real estate facets, including Financing, Negotiating, Tenant Fit-Outs, Property Management, Brokerage, Acquisition, Sales in both Residential, Commercial and Industrial real estate.
Gaurav Gambhir is the Owner and Founder of TCS Group (originally The Condo Shop), which boasts a team of over 80 agents. He also serves as the Founder and Director of Ancillary Services at KW Empower, where he oversees more than 1,100+ agents and leads one of the largest residential brokerages in Pennsylvania. Under his leadership, KW Empower has the biggest market share in Philadelphia, maintaining the number one position in the city since its launch in January 2024. With a projected sales volume of $4 billion for 2024, KW Empower continues to thrive under Gaurav’s guidance. Gaurav strongly believes that all agents and clients should be given and taught how to build financial independence and coaches that philosophy to those around him. He launched an agent centric Title company named One Team Abstract and an insurance division Customer First Insurance.
With the idea of providing end to end solutions in Real Estate, Gaurav founded TCS Management, Madison Parke, Black Label Luxury, Rent Philly, and SNA Renovations. Gaurav was involved in launching multiple funds for the purchase and renovation of single family housing units in Philadelphia. As an active real estate agent, Gaurav remains deeply engaged with the market and industry trends, which he believes is crucial for maintaining a successful business. His expansive knowledge and diverse perspective in real estate allow him to offer comprehensive services and valuable insights to clients seeking to rent, sell, buy, invest, or build in both luxury and mainstream markets. His strengths include opening new businesses, managing sales and operations at a high level, improving profitability and streamlining processes. Gaurav has been featured on multiple nation wide panels, including most notably, a 1-1 interview with Gary Keller in front of 15,000 attendees.
To give back, Gaurav is active in a variety of civic and charitable organizations. Gaurav is proud to sit on the Board of Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA), Board of Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors (GPAR), Drexel Real Estate Management and Development Advisory Board and continues to support organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Philabundance, and MANNA. On a personal level, Gaurav contributes to CureDuchenne, a cause supporting research and relief for muscular dystrophy, which includes an annual fundraiser that’s managed to raise up to $250,000 every year. He takes the most pride to be able to support underprivileged girls in India for their lifelong education through organizations like ChildFund and OneChild.
Gaurav, a proud Philadelphia resident since 1997, has built his American dream in the Art Museum neighborhood with his wife and daughter, along with their new cat, which has brought him great joy. He enjoys exploring the city's rich cultural and historical offerings, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Gaurav embraces an active lifestyle with a new passion for running, having completed the Broad Street Run and Rocky Run with aspirations to run the Philadelphia Marathon soon. Eager to give back to the city that has given him so much, Gaurav is committed to contributing to Philadelphia’s vibrant community.
